Eleanor Hyde Passes At 77

Eleanor Hyde, 77, of Bronx, NY, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017 in Red Hook, NY.

Born on September 25th, 1939, in Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Leo and Catherine Convery (Neill) Sexton. 

For many years, Eleanor worked as a Tele typist with New York Telephone in Manhattan.   

She is survived by her children; Lisa (Kevin) Zulch of Red Hook, NY, Steven J. Sexton of Scotland, and Susan L. Hyde of Bronx, NY; her sister, Muriel Snyder of Warwick, NY; her brother, Joseph Sexton of Monroe, NY; and her grandchildren, Meg Zulch, Jessica Zulch, Alex Sexton, and Kieran Sexton.

Friends may call at the Burnett & White Funeral Homes on Tuesday, March 7th, 2017 from 2 – 4 & 6 – 7:30 p.m.. Funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Interment will be private.

Memorial donations may be made in Eleanor’s memory to the Dutchess County SPCA, 636 Violet Avenue, Hyde Park, NY 12538  or to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
