Lehman College men's soccer standout Oumar Niang is included in the latest national statistical leaders report published by the NCAA. The governing body updates Division III statistics each week, and the current rankings are through games of September 30, 2012.

Niang, a senior midfielder from the Bronx, is ranked 64th in the country in both the number of goals scored (7), and in goals per game (.78). Both totals are also second-best in the CUNY Athletic Conference.

Lehman currently holds a 3-9-1 overall record, including a 2-2 mark inside the CUNYAC. The Lightning will travel to Queens on Saturday night, October 6, to face John Jay at the Met Oval. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. The Lightning will then return home on October 10, 2012, hosting Baruch College at 7:00 p.m.
