Ally Davis, resident of Bronx and post-graduate at Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, MA, was selected as Cushing's Athlete of the Week for the week of 01/09-01/15.

Ally is the fuel to the Cushing Varsity Girls' basketball team as she has put up over 150 points thus far in the season. Last week she put up 21 points vs. Phillips Exeter Academy during a tough road game and followed it up with an 18 point showing vs. Williston Northampton at home. These offensive performances helped lead her team to 2 key wins and a 5-3 overall record.

Ally's basketball skillset extends beyond her offensive powers and she has proven herself to be a reliable rebounder and defensive stalwart. Ally brings a competitive spirit to practice daily, quietly encourages her teammates, and has been a significant all-around contributor to the program. Ally is a multi-sport athlete here at Cushing as well.
