Representatives from Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island and Long Island as well as Connecticut came together for prayer, conversation and planning to formulate a citywide faith-based strategy regarding the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

Together, they led a prayer vigil for families and friends who lost loved ones; addressed the state of our nation in preparation for Election Day; and strategized methods for houses of worship to catapult economic growth and sustainability.

“While the next day after our meeting is Election Day and we uphold the importance of voting, this is not a political event. This is about the well-being of the people of our beloved city who have lost much and are still today trying to rebuild the pieces of their lives. It is about the state of our houses of worship,” stated the Revs. Tim and Que English, senior pastors of Bronx Christian Fellowship Church and co-founders of the Bronx Clergy Roundtable.
