Thousands to march to City Hall and protest proposed kindergarten elimination eliminating kindergarten in day care centers to cost city millions. Plan would shift 3,300 children from day care to overcrowded public schools.
Thousands of parents, day care center staff, public officials, unions members march to City Hall to urge the mayor and councilmembers to vote down the costly budget proposal that will eliminate kindergarten education in New York City day care centers.
