Police Protest Pelham Bay Layoffs

The Pelham Board of Trustees has proposed cutting a police officer to save budget dollars, but the force says that this could jeopardize the Village’s safety.

The Police Benevolent Association presents its case tonight at the Village Hall meeting at 7:30 p.m. Check back this afternoon for our first installment on this story and tomorrow morning for our recap on the meeting.
