The fire department says at least seven people have been injured after a vehicle accident at a Bronx bus stop.

The FDNY reported four of the people were injured critically. The others had serious injuries.

Authorities say a livery cab apparently collided with a minivan near the bus stop. One of the vehicles jumped the curb. Six of those injured were bystanders, including some people waiting for the bus.

The accident happened shortly before noon today at Kingsbridge Road and University. The injured were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital.
