A young Bronx man is hoping someone in the community can help save his life.

Dionis Guerrero Baez, 20, is suffering from leukemia and needs a bone marrow transplant.

His best chance for a match would be a family member, but his mother and two sisters died in the crash of American Airlines Flight 587 in Queens in 2001.

A bone marrow drive is scheduled for Baez from 07:00 a.m. to noon on Friday, January 13, 2012 at Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, a leading pediatric hospital in Washington Heights, part of New York-Presbyterian Hospital and Columbia University Medical Center at 3959 Broadway, Manhattan, NY 10032.

Telephone number for contact is 212-305-5437.
