Bronx Resident Stars In Buffalo State College Theater Production

Bronx resident, Jamaican native and Buffalo State College student Daigi-Ann Thompson will be starring as a lead role in The Children’s Hour, written by
Lillian Hellman and presented by Buffalo State College and Casting Hall Productions November 10-20, 2010.

The contemporary drama focuses on two female teachers at an all-girls boarding school who are accused of being “unnatural” with each other.  In her role as Karen Wright, one of the accused teachers, Thompson must fight to keep her school open and salvage her friendship with fellow teacher Martha Dobie.

Shows will be held Nov. 10-13 and Nov. 17-20 at 8 p.m. and Nov. 13 and 20 at 2 p.m. in the Flexible Theatre in Donald Savage Theater Building at 1300 Elmwood Ave. Tickets can be purchased through the Rockwell Hall Performing Arts Center Box Office at (716) 878-3005 or by visiting here for more information.
