The New York City Fire Department Hispanic Society sponsored “El Bombero Rapero” directly from Puerto Rico to come to New York for the National Puerto Rican Day Parade.

Lt. Angel Alberto Crespo Ortiz is known as “El Bombero Rapero” for his work in making a CD of 8 songs directed at children with a message of fire safety.  Lt. Crespo is being credited with reducing the number of fatal fires death among very young children to zero in the island of Puerto Rico. The stats prove that since his music hit the fires involving young children has declined.

Lt. Crespo will be performing at The Roberto Clemente State Park in the Bronx tomorrow Saturday, June 12, at 3 p.m.  Several cities across the nation have requested “El Bombero Rapero” to bring his message to their cities.

He will also lead the FDNY Hispanic Society Firefighters and EMT down 5th Ave for the National Puerto Rican Day Parade.
