Brazilian Superstar Lili Rocha Releases New Spring Remix

Brazilian-born superstar Lili Rocha is known around the globe for her movement-heavy interpretations of American Folk music.

Lili Rocha’s four released albums, containing songs in Portuguese, Spanish and Italian, have found great success, reigning in a dedicated fan base for this adult contemporary/soft rock songstress. The first album, Me Deixa Sonhar (2003), boasts modest success in Lili’s native Brazilian market, and sold over 80,000 records in Italy.  Recomeçar (2004) was released in Europe and went gold in Italy with 40,000 copies sold. Shortly after the release of her third studio album, Amuleto (2007), Lili Rocha embarked on the Amuleto concert tour, performing for thousands of frenzied fans and traveling to many major cities throughout Italy and Spain. The spirit of over eighty shows along the tour was captured and compiled as Lili’s first live album, Lili Rocha Live (2009). This album, released as both CD and DVD, was another huge hit, going gold in Italy and showcasing her true talent as a live performer.

Following her first English album, Lili Rocha Rocks! (released last summer), and her hit remix single “Gold in Your Soul”, comes a spring remix that incorporates Rocha’s signature international folk sound with a modern, soulful beat.

Rocha’s remix of “I’m Alright” features world-renowned producers Mike Cruz, Timmy Loop and Steven Wolf (who has worked with the likes of Pink, Celine Dion and Ke$ha, respectively). Shortly after its release, “I’m Alright” jumped an astounding 16 spots in just three weeks to land a coveted number 27 spot on the elite Billboard Dance Club chart.

Rocha is already making her mark in the U.S., having been featured on leading Latino radio station 93.1 AMOR in New York and on Univision’s popular LAZante television show in L.A. Fresh off a U.S. Tour that featured shows in Miami, New York and Los Angeles, Rocha is set to begin recording her next album in the U.S. this summer.
