Students from across New York City gathered in the Bronx Saturday for the FIRST LEGO League qualifier.

The event was held at Horace Mann School.

A total of 15 teams were tasked with building a robot that could perform problem-solving tasks.

For the students, the project is all about team work and having fun.

The competition continues for the winning teams on March 19 when the NYC regional competition will be held at the City College of New York.
