On Thursday December 6, 2018, at approximately 06:51 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of a family dispute inside of 2663 Heath Avenue, apartment #18J, within the confines of the 52 Precinct in Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers encountered an unconscious and unresponsive 51-year-old male on a couch inside of his apartment. EMS also responded to the location and transported the male to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. An 11-year-old male was removed to the 52 Precinct for questioning. The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death and the investigation is ongoing.
