The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached photograph in connection to a grand larceny that occurred within the confines of the 52 Precinct in Bronx.

Details are as follows:

It was reported to police that on Monday September 17, 2018, at approximately 12:42 p.m., inside of 49 West Fordham Road (Rite Aid), the 64-year-old female victim placed her pocketbook on a seat next to her as she waited for her mediation to be prepared by the pharmacist. The individual walked up to the service counter, bent over and took the victim’s pocketbook from the chair. The individual placed the pocketbook inside his bag and then fled the location on foot. Among the items inside the victim’s pocketbook were $500 in cash and a credit card.

The individual is described as a male, Hispanic; last seen wearing a gray hooded sweater with the word “Bronx” printed across its chest, black shorts, black sneakers and he carried a gray messenger bag.
