A woman who pulled out cash to pay for her groceries was robbed by a man who grabbed the money from her hand and ran out of the store, police said.
The 55-year-old shopper was checking out at a grocery store on East Gun Hill Road in the Bronx on Tuesday when she pulled out cash to play the clerk, the NYPD said.
A man grabbed $90 from the woman’s hand and fled from the store, police said.
The woman was not injured.
The robber is described as about 5 feet, 11 inches tall and 180 pounds.
