A hit-and-run driver fatally struck a man trying to cross the Hutchinson River Parkway in Bronx Monday night, cops said.
The driver, who was headed north behind the wheel of a white SUV, slammed into the pedestrian as he crossed near Exit 3 in Pelham Bay at about 8:00 p.m. Medics took the victim, an unidentified man in his 30s, to Jacobi Medical Center, where he died, according to police.
Cops were still looking for the driver early Tuesday.
