Police are seeking a man who told a gas station clerk he saw someone jump into the Bronx River late Sunday, cops said.

The man did not call 911, but told the clerk working near the Westchester Avenue Bridge in Soundview that he had witnessed the suicide around 11:45 p.m., officials said. The clerk at Nor-Bronx River Service Station called authorities.

When police searched the scene, they found a suicide note in a bottle — but no body, cops said.

Police on Monday were seeking the supposed eyewitness and investigating the name given in the suicide note.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers' website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.

All tips will be kept confidential.
