A Bronx man who allegedly sold drugs was arrested after he fled police and later got stuck on a tree near a cliff just north of the George Washington Bridge in Fort Lee Monday evening, authorities said.

A cop from the Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Dept. was doing a drug deal as part of an investigation in a stairway off the Hudson Terrace, officials said. The suspect who was selling drugs fled from the undercover officer and into the wooded park.

The suspect, who was later identified as Anthony Lora, 22, continued running, crossed over a fence line and began scaling down the Palisades Cliff, authorities said. Lora then got stuck in a tree on the cliff side.

Port Authority Police, Fort Lee Police and Fort Lee Fire Departments also responded to the scene.

Authorities were able to remove Lora from the tree, officials said. He was arrested and taken to the Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Headquarters. He was also wanted by the New York Police Department for armed robbery. Lora was held in the Bergen County Jail, where he’s awaiting extradition.

Lora was charged with conspiracy to distribute cocaine, conspiracy to distribute ecstasy and resisting arrest, authorities said. He faces additional charges.
