A mother who lost custody of her 10-year-old daughter is being sought by cops after running off with the child during a supervised visit at a Bronx McDonald’s, officials said Saturday.
Diane Simpson, who lives in Allentown, PA, convinced her daughter Shajabar McRae to take off with her during the visit at the fast food joint on Southern Boulevard near Aidus Street in Foxhurst about 6:00 p.m. on Friday, officials said.
The two have not been seen since but it is not believed that Shajabar is in danger, police sources said.
McRae’s grandmother, who was at the McDonald’s during the visit, lives in the Bronx and has legal custody of Shajabar. She was unable to stop McRae, 52, from leaving with the girl.
