A shadow-boxing assailant killed a 46-year-old man in Bronx, police said Friday.
The attacker, Junal Jordan, who is in his 30s, was shadow-boxing in a hallway on the seventh-floor of a building at 601 E. 156th Street near St. Ann’s Avenue in Melrose just after 5:00 p.m. Thursday.
That was when he grabbed Bakary Darboe out of an elevator and beat him to death with a blunt object, cops said.
Responding officers discovered Darboe’s body in the hallway of the building.
Police found the wannabe pugilist a few blocks away, where he was taken into custody.
Sources said the two men did not appear to know one other, but both lived in the building.
