A 56-year-old woman died after a car struck her in Bronx Wednesday night, police said.
Authorities said a 2012 Nissan Sentra slammed into Denise Lippin as she was crossing Bruckner Boulevard on E. 138th Street in Mott Haven around 7:45 p.m.
Emergency responders rushed her to Lincoln Hospital, but she could not be saved.
The vehicle remained on scene and police did not suspect any criminality, according to officials.
The investigation was ongoing early Thursday.
