A Bronx man who had an epileptic seizure while driving has been cleared of killing a 25-year-old man.

Vincent Zanfardino was found not guilty Tuesday of second-degree manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide and assault in the July 2012 crash.

Authorities say the Bronx man was driving in Queens when he became unresponsive and sped up to 93 mph. They say he crashed into a car, killing one of the passengers. The driver and another passenger were injured.

During the trial prosecutors said Zanfardino ignored his doctor’s warnings not to drive and renewed his license 11 months before the crash.

Zanfardino took anti-seizure medication but prosecutors say he’s had an increasing number of seizures in recent years.

Prosecutors declined to comment.
