Police released a photo of one of two masked men suspected of an attempted robbery in the basement of a Bronx building last week.

Authorities say this man and an accomplice attacked a 39-year-old woman in the basement of 660 West 232nd Street the morning of October 9, 2012.

They say the masked men jumped out of a closet and demanded money.

Another woman heard the victim's screams and ran into the basement to help.

She was assaulted by the suspects, but managed to pull the mask off one of the men.

Both women received medical attention.

The suspect seen above is described as between the ages of 45 to 55 and was wearing black clothing and a black cap during the incident.

The other suspect is also still on the loose by Tuesday.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit NYPDCrimestoppers.com.

All calls are strictly confidential.
