Two Men Killed - In Queens & Bronx

Police are investigating multiple deadly shootings across the city.

Authorities say a Alejandro Ramos, 46, of Queens, died after he was shot in the back on Roosevelt Avenue in Queens just before 11 p.m. Tuesday. Another man, 28, had also been shot in the buttocks but he was taken to the hospital in stable condition and is expected to be OK.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

Less than an hour after the Queens shooting, police found a 40-year-old man dead of a gunshot wound to the torso after a shootout in the Bronx. Authorities responded to a 911 call at the corner of Bainbridge Avenue and East 197th Street just after 11:30 p.m. and found the victim dead at the scene.

The identification of the victim is being withheld pending family notification.

The Bronx incident also remains under investigation.
