Police are hunting for a suspect a string of seven Bronx home burglaries.

Cops say they believe Luis Gonzalez, 40, is behind a recent burglary spree which has targeted homes in Bedford Park and Norwood, often during the daytime hours while residents are at work.

In most cases, he entered through the front door and he walked away with cash, jewelry and electronics, said police.

The spree began August 21, 2011, when the burglar slipped through the front door of an apartment on Parkside Place near East 207th Street in Norwood and got away with cash and jewelry, said police.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit NYPDCrimestoppers.com.

All calls are strictly confidential.
