New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in finding the individuals, responsible for a couple of violent robberies this week in the Bronx, one in the North and the other in the Morrisania section of the borough.

On Monday, at about 05:50 p.m., a 74-year-old man was hit from behind by an individual at the corner of Park Avenue and Gouverneur Place in Morrisania. The robber repeatedly kicked him and took his cell phone and cash. Cops do not know what he looks like, so they need some tips.

On Wednesday, at 12:25 a.m., two (2) individuals robbed a deli on the North side. One went behind the counter, fought with the 25-year-old clerk and stabbed him in the leg.

The knife-wielder is described at 18-25 years old, 5’10” to 6’1″ in height, slim and wearing a blue hoodie with white lettering, over dark pants and sneakers.

The robber’s accomplice, who was waiting outside, is 20-30 years old, shorter and heavier, about 5’8″ in height, weight 170 lbs., wearing and a black-and )-blue hoodie, a black waist-length jacket and carrying a black book bag. (It is likely that there were not any books in it.)

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stopperswebsite or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.

All tips will be kept strictly confidential.
