Thousands of volunteers took to the streets in Bronx Monday night to see how many homeless people are living without shelter.
The event, known as the HOPE Count, is an annual event that allows New York City residents to canvas parks, subways and other public spaces to see how many are living on the streets.
The count was supposed to happen on January 23, 2017 but was rescheduled because of the nor’easter storm.
Last year 3,800 people volunteered to help out.
