Perrigo Hires Omar Lora As Production Supervisor

Perrigo, a leading pharmaceutical supplier, announced today that Omar Lora has been hired as the third shift production supervisor for the packaging department in Bronx, New York.

In this role, Lora will ensure staff works in accordance with GMP and FDA regulations, achieving the production schedule efficiently while meeting customer requirements.

Lora has spent 18 years as a supervisor in various industries, eight years as a quality engineer and five years as an aviation mechanic.

Lora earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Intec University in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He earned a post-graduate degree in Quality and Productivity Management from the same school. Lora continued his education at Villanova University where he earned his Lean, Green Belt and Black Belt certifications in Six Sigma methodologies.

Lora is from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and currently resides in Bronx, NY.
