Imported From The Bronx: New Fiat Ad

Looks like the folks at Fiat USA have taken a few advertising cues from their cousins at Chrysler.

Not unlike Eminem's "Imported From Detroit" ad and all of its many spinoffs, Fiat this week debuted a similar ad with Jennifer Lopez in a 500 cabriolet. It is Lopez's second ad in the tiny coupe; last month, we saw the 30-second ad and accompanying music video of the "American Idol" judge being chased by would-be paramours.

Titled "My World," Lopez drives around her home-borough of the Bronx and self-narrates - no gritty Grand Rapids voiceover guy here. "Here, this is my world. This place inspires me to be tougher, to stay sharper, to think faster. They may be just streets to you, but to me they're a playground," she says. The song in the background is "Until It Beats No More" from her "Love?" album.

There's a bridge, there are shots of the city, there are random kids playing, just like in all the other ads. Or you might confuse it with a lost clip from the "Feelin' So Good" video. Still, Lopez looks good and it must be working for Fiat.

The video clip follows.
