Peter Milosheff
Mr. Milosheff acquired Bronx.com in March, 2005 and is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the operation's holding company, SlipperyRock.com, LLC.

Prior to acquiring Bronx.com Mr. Milosheff worked in the area of corporate finance for Christie's New York, Prada, Pfizer, Moody's and Deutsche Bank. He began his career at age 17 in Sofia, Bulgaria, EU, where he established his private educational advising agency Endeavour, providing service to Bulgarian students interested in continuing their education abroad, and especially in the US.

While managing most aspects of Bronx.com's operation and delegating others, he continues his career at a Wall Street financial services company in the area of credit derivatives trading, origination and their respective risk management and product control.

Mr. Milosheff received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania in the Spring of 2002. He graduated Cum Laude with a major in Finance.

A four-part workshop conducted by Cindy Sizemore, MS, RD designed to improve the eating habits of you and your family in order to achieve and maintain a healthy weight. Ms. Sizemore is a registered dietician whose work has focused on pediatric and adult nutrition. She executes a community-based family weight management program at Jacobi Medical Center and works as a nutrition consultant for a non-profit organization in Harlem.

She received her BS at Ohio State Unversity and her MS in Clinical Nutrition at NYU. The workshop will be divided into the following sessions:

  IThursday, March 06, 2008 at 2 pm -  “The Buzz on Beverages
     
This class discusses how excess calories that lead to weight gain come from many of the things we DRINK. You will be taught to understand which beverages are healthy and which ones should be avoided.


 IIThursday, March 20, 2008 at 2 pm – “Understanding Food Labels
     
This class teaches parents how to read Nutrition Facts labels to determine if the food they are choosing help promote a healthy weight for their children and themselves.


III. Thursday, April 03, 2008 at 2 pm – “The Scoop on Portion Sizes
     
This class breaks down the food pyramid into easy-to-understand terms to teach parents about the various food groups and the appropriate portion sizes of the foods we commonly eat.


IV. Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 2 pm – “The Importance of Healthy Snacks
     
This class reviews the importance of snacking and discusses those snacks we should choose and those we should avoid.  Recipes and ideas for great-tasting, healthy snacks are provided.
