A Bronx woman died after plummeting from the window of her fifth-floor apartment Friday and detectives are trying to determine if she was pushed, police sources said.

Cops found the 43-year-old woman, with bruises to her head and body, sprawled outside 940 Grand Concourse, near 163rd Street, at about 3:00 p.m.

Witnesses told police that they watched in horror as the woman’s body plunged from the building and landed near an alcove surrounded by scaffolding, sources said.

Police were questioning a man who was inside the apartment at the time, sources said.

No one had been charged with a crime as of late Friday and the death was not immediately classified as a homicide.

Street view of the location follows.
