Bronx Woman, 64, Dies In Fire

Police say 64-year-old Alease Jenkins was pronounced dead at a hospital following the Sunday night blaze at Parkside Houses in Bronx.

Authorities say a 49-year-old woman was treated for smoke inhalation and is in stable condition.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation but is not deemed suspicious.
