St. Dominic’s Family Services is seeking to hire the following qualified professionals for its operations in Blauvelt, NY:

As a key member of the management team, the Senior Vice President of Child Welfare and Family Support Services will manage all aspects of the Family Foster Care Program and the Family Connections Preventive Program, including service delivery, staff development, model fidelity, foster home recruitment, facilities operations, budget development and allocations. The successful candidate will supervise the Vice President of Family Foster Care and the Program Director of Family Connections as well as other senior Program Managers.

He/She is one of the primary program contacts with the NYC Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) and other service providers. To be successful, the Senior Vice President must be adaptable, a strategic thinker, and able to develop and implement strategies to support the program and Agency’s strategic growth plans.

Qualifications & requirements:

The candidate must have a Master’s in Social Work (MSW) and be a Licensed Social Worker (LCSW or LMSW) with a minimum of ten (10) years experience in the field of social work and in the field of Child Welfare. A minimum of eight (8) years of supervisory experience is required. Exceptional communication, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, writing, and problem-solving skills.

The Family Foster Care Administrative Accountability Supervisor provides oversight and feedback related to performance and all areas of compliance including billing activities, monitoring of program census and on-going statistical analyst. The Administrative Accountability Supervisor interacts and coordinates closely with program and agency administrators, as well as assumes specific functions to reach program goals, such as training, monitoring records, and preparing staff for PAMs reviews. The Administrative Supervisor monitors the units’ compliance with program goals and ACS/OCFS regulations and fidelity to the Child Success NYC model. The Administrative Supervisor is also a crucial part of the program management team and assists the Vice President and Assistant Vice President in providing overall direction to the program as it relates to compliance.

Qualifications & requirements:

LMSW preferred MSW required or alternate Masters required, as well as at least five years experience in the field of child welfare, at least three of which must have been in a supervisory capacity. Advanced competency in the use of computers, Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, other database systems i.e. Connections, COGNOS, Experience managing complex databases and generating reports.
