As a key member of the Management Team, the Director of Family Foster Care will report directly to the Associate Executive Director.

He/she is responsible for the overall management of all Family Foster Care program in Bronx, which includes the foster care recruitment, budgetary, accountability, and personnel aspects of the program.

The Director is the primary program contact with the NYC Administration for Children Services, and NYS Office of Mental Health. To be successful, the Director must have recent direct experience in child welfare. The successful candidate must also be adaptable, a strategic thinker, and able to develop and implement strategies to support the program and company’s strategic growth plans.

Qualifications and Requirements: Candidate should have a Masters Degree in Social Work, License Certified Social Worker (LCSW), with a minimum of eight of experience in the field of Social Worker and a minimum of five years increasing supervisory and management experience in child welfare. Ability to maintain relationship with NYC Administration for Children’s Services, and other service providers. Exceptional communication, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, writing, and problem-solving skills. Bi-lingual Spanish speaking preferred. We offer competitive salary and benefit package.
