Free Concert At Woodlawn Cemetery

French horn will play classics from Duke Ellington among others.

The Friends of the Woodlawn Cemetery is pleased to announce The Bardekova Ensemble Concert on Sunday, September 13 at 2:00 p.m. in Woodlawns Woolworth Chapel.

The outstanding quintet (flute, clarinet, bassoon, French horn & oboe) will play classical favorites and tributes to some of those in Woodlawns care, including classics from Duke Ellington and Miles Davis, as well as selections from Franz Ignaz Danzi, Iobert, Rossini and many others.

The Bronx-based Bardekova Woodwind Quintet was established over 25 years ago. Admission is FREE and this performance is funded through grant support from the Bronx Council for the Arts.
